Looks like a pretty nicely-managed fund, and they're certainly out-performing the Dow. But Grantt, maybe you should take a closer look at their balance sheet -- they invest in the American options and futures markets, along with several other countries. FYI.

Also, while they had a good runup in '98, and average return of 31.51% per annum in the options market is really not all that damned hot. You can match or beat that with a decent education on options trading and some software to help you track. Unlike the equities market, a globalised portfolio in options does not really offer any special degree of protection from adversity.

Not trying to be preachy; just suggesting that while the fund undoubtedly is out-performing the Dow, it is severely under-performing (or perhaps simply underpaying it's investors in their "profit share" agreement as outlined in the prospectus) relative to most successful options and futures traders.

I think the best place to invest is in heaven, lets store our treasures there. Where are treasure is our heart will be also. I am done worrying about trying to get 30 or 40 % on my money. My prayer is that I focus on the Lord more and me less. Less of me and more of Jesus. You will never see a hearst with a uhaul truck behind it. but we can send a little ahead to heaven.
